About Belmont Boxing/ Boxing boot camp

The boxing class is a comprehensive program covering everything from basic footwork and punching, to advanced offensive and defensive strategy. This class is built to fit everyone's needs. Whether your just trying to get in great shape or you would like to compete, this class has it all. Even Fighters looking to take their game to the next level can benefit from the conditioning and knowledge gained from this class.

The class starts with a few rounds of jump rope to warm up the body. Then we move into a methodical full body stretch from the neck down to make sure you're loose. From there we move into the bulk of the class which consist of footwork, shadow boxing, circuit training,  focus mit drills, heavy bag work, offensive and defensive drills, combination drills, sparring drills, and free-form sparring.

Boxing is more than just throwing punches; all the muscles of the body are used. Boxers are among the very best conditioned athletes in the world. All aspects of Boxing and conditioning are covered in a safe and fun workout. You will burn calories, tone muscle, and relieve stress as well as developing confidence in yourself.
